I made a lot of these songs a long time ago. I want to say its the old me but I don't know when the new me started so.. its just me. 4 years ago. And I dont love it, but I hope it heals or can help some people. It definitely healed me, and putting it out healed me up much more. The cosmos are sending me adventures, its time to let go of the old and make room for high vibrations. soundcloud.com/zuzusilk
man must know the power of womban.
couple weeks ago a very wise homie at @we.are.radar and I were talking about the power of the feminine & Emperor Haile Sellassie I (if ya dono who that is, do the research) being the first king to be crowned -by his order- at the same time as his Queen, Empress Menen, setting an example for mankind. Sadly this world holds men where it should hold womben, which is why their bond is so necessary to learn from. Womban needs to know her strength, and Man needs to know the immeasurable gain that comes from raising up and fulfilling her. Haile Sellassie I had great power but ALL powerful men come from a female. Knowing this he gave his empress the world, treated her the most high. What she gave him and life in return created the balance that flourished the most powerful movements of all time. The struggles of being a black womban can't be overstated, Empress Menen was a beacon of light in times of war (menen means 'light' in amharic), she set an example of peace and faith for all people, she is the Queen of all Queens, Queen omega, a beginning without an end. And her king, the counterpart.
I feel everyone should learn from this union. knowledge is free.
who are you without ?
without your homies
without your output
without “what do you do?”
without the little blue check
who are you without social media
without your clout
without your looks
without your lady
without your dude
without the groupies
without your career
without your art!
we rely on this shit to make us “who we are” buuutt forreal like
if we had nothing would we be content with just ourselves at the simplest form?
for most the answer is no, shoutout to the people who can say yes right now, yuh on
a lot of people have a hard time just being alone with themselves
if we don’t try to stop looking for validation with outside shit we will always be affected by stuff we can’t control. honestly though, that may actually just be the human journey. beautiful art comes from the ability to be affected by shit.
maybe this is our lesson over our lifetimes as homosapiens but it would be nice to not be defined by anything. our connection to the creator, the cosmos, to the flame that we are all sparks off of, it’s the only constant. remember what you have to be thankful for and focus some energy into that today love y’all.
